Depression
This is an art school diploma work, which shows how the inner world of a depressed person may look like.
Through this project, I wanted to portray this surrealistic feeling of confusion, emptiness and loneliness a depressed person may feel. This work helps with spreading awareness of mental health and I hope some people after seeing it have become more empathetic to those, who suffer.

With the help of my relative, we decorated empty walls in this room with old wallpapers, to bring this "home" feeling to the atmosphere. Afterwards, we chose some old furniture and brought them in this room to make it appeal as if someone lived there. Then after putting some bedsheets, I started painting on top of them a person and a cat in the sleeping positions, using at first some acrylic gesso, then applying paints.

Patients at this stage may experience mild forgetfulness, moments of confusion, unfamiliarity, and loss of confidence in the world around them. They feel as if they are trying to grab onto something familiar, but they can't hold onto it.

At the last stage of dementia. There is a final disappearance of connection with reality and the loss of the last remnants of awareness. Patients are faced with a complete loss of self-identification, and they finally sink into an unconscious state. This stage emphasizes the importance of being aware and understanding of the unfathomable reality that can be experienced by patients with dementia.

Mankind
This artwork shows different sides of human beings. It divides in three levels.
In the first layer there are the most people gathered and there they are fully embracing their physical selves.
In the second layer, there are some glances of becoming more fluid and connecting with the surroundings.
Third layer is the final stage, which shows full disappearance into the shadows and leaving beautiful nature and animals behind.

This artwork was created using materials such as ink and watercolours.
